Happy Friday!
Well, it was another awesome week of Bootcamp Training Sessions. The energy was high and the weather actually cooperated with us this week! As always, congrats to all the dedicated Campers out there who made it to at least 4 sessions this week.
In Willow Glen, I have a very special congratulations to give out to Janel. She was starting to miss a few classes in the last few weeks, but after a pretty important talk about motivation, she showed up to every 6am session this week!
So Janel is honored with our “Hero of the Week”
title.Congratulations Janel for showing up!

Congrats to our Hero of the Week: Janel!
Sometimes….scratch that…most of the time, that’s really what matters.
When Janel said that she wasn’t feeling “motivated” (and heck…who doesn’t feel that way sometimes?), I had a few things to say about the feeling of motivation. Here’s my take on it:
Motivation is just something you feel in the moment. Sometimes you “feel” motivated, sometimes you don’t. When it comes to taking care of your body, your health, your life…when it comes to instilling exercise as a habit, the truth is motivation has very little to do with it. What matters more than motivation is your ability to show up. Your consistent action of doing what it is you know you need to do.
The truth is, if you want to change your fitness, your health, the shape of your body,or
lose weight…you need to show up to your training sessions.
Every time.
Consistently.
Motivated or not.
Motivation is not the key. Consistency is the key.
And do you want to know the craziest thing about this whole thing? The more you just show up…the more motivated you end up becoming! It’s crazy!
So if you had a less-than-motivating week, let this be your friendly reminder to…GET YOUR BUT TO BOOTCAMP!
MAKE SURE TO KEEP ME POSTED ON WHAT YOU’RE DOING IN BOOTCAMP BELOW:
1. DID YOU SHOW UP TO BOOTCAMP AT LEAST 4 TIMES THIS WEEK? LET ME KNOW!
2. IF YOU DIDN’T, BUT KNOW YOU SHOULD HAVE…LET ME KNOW!
Have a great weekend everyone! Get ready to rock it out in March!
