Fit Body Bootcamp Summer Launch!!!

Seriously…why not let THIS be your summer! Instead of wishing your hot jeans would fit…HOW ABOUT DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT?

Some of you have heard me talk about it, but in case I haven’t seen you for a while, let me fill you in…I’VE BEEN BUSY!

Busy putting together THE BEST Outdoor Fitness Program in the South Bay Area!

It all started with just a little Saturday morning Bootcamp class in January. There was a group of almost 20 showing up for an awesome workout in a beautiful location (see how happy they look)!

And over the course of this year, it’s grown EXPONENTIALLY as the members keep DROPPING WEIGHT, LEANING OUT, LOSING THEIR BELLY FAT, AND TONING UP THEIR TUSHES!!!

IF YOU HAVEN’T CHECKED IT OUT…NOW IS DEFINITELY THE TIME!

Starting June 1st, your Fit Body Bootcamp is now offered:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday AND Thursday at:

6AM, 9:15AM, AND 6PM!!!

And of course because it’s what started it all, we also have class on

Saturday at 8:30AM!

And it gets even better…

I’ve been doing a ton of research and most bootcamps make you pay for coming 2x a week, or 3x a week, and have a ton of restrictions on what you can and cannot do! Who Needs That?

I’ve made it soooo simple for you AND for me, and it looks like this:

COME TO ANY CLASS YOU WANT!!!

COME TO AS MANY CLASSES AS YOU WANT!!!

(let me apologize here…I just read through this and noticed a whole lotta exclamation points…I’m just so darn excited about this I can barely contain myself!)

There are no limits or restraints on when you get your awesome training sessions in, or how many times a week you decide to GET STRONG AND LEAN!!!

Wanna Learn More?

For one low price of $197 a month, you have the opportunity to get in the best shape of your life using the most effective type of training to get results you’d never see working out in a stale gym….13 TIMES A WEEK!

Even if you only come 3 times a week, you’re looking at 16 bucks a workout. But if you’re really ready to see some serious changes in your body, tighten and tone through your thighs, and lose your gut (can you say 6-pack?), then get your booty in bootcamp more often for LESS THAN $10 A SESSION!!!

Now, that was some seriously exciting news above…BUT YOU HAVEN’T EVEN HEARD THE BEST OF IT YET!!!

First off, this is a steal. You all know how awesome you feel after a great workout with me, and at this price, there’s not another workout program in the area that can compete with the HIGH CALIBUR instructors, workouts, or price.

BUT STILL…DON’T YOU LOVE A GREAT DEAL?

OKAY…HERE’S THE DEAL…

Because most of you who are reading this haven’t been working out in a verrry long time…

Detox Day 12!

Friday, May 29, 2009 7am.

I didn’t do a great job of keeping you posted this week, but overall it’s been a good week. Still going strong with the cleanse. Today is DAY 12! WE’VE MADE IT OVER THE HUMP!!!

Here’s a recap of the experience thus far:

Week one felt crazy. Everything was new and very challenging to incorporate. I’m in the middle of my summer time Fit Body Bootcamp launch, while Leanne just started a new job, and Kristin works a very full time job in which she only has access to a microwave. Even Marlona had said even though she doesn’t have a traditional job, she still felt overwhelmed at times having to think ahead and prepare all her meals.

Week Two just got a little boring.

Okay…now we all know what we’re NOT supposed to eat:

  • Processed crap
  • Sugar
  • Wheat or gluten containing grains
  • Dairy
  • Caffeine
  • Corn

And we have a better understanding of what we CAN eat:

  • Lean and Clean animal Proteins (preferably organic)
  • Eggs
  • All the non-starchy veggies you can think of
  • Starchy veggies, especially sweet potato and squashes
  • Fruit, most preferably apples, pears, berries, but all others in moderation is fine
  • Nuts and seeds
  • Nut butters
  • Non-glutenous grains (brown rice, quinoa, buckwheat, amaranth)
  • Kombuchas!

Now that we got it, we just got plain bored this week! We all complained of having a “boring food week”, because none of us bothered to try any new recipes!!!

Well, that’s about to change! We’re meeting up this weekend to do a little cooking, try new “clean and lean” recipes, and get some momentum moving into OUR FINAL WEEK OF DETOX!!!

Lost 6 pounds in 7 days on Detox

DAY 8!!!

Woo Hoo!!! I made it!

First for the crazy good (and kind of bad) news: I lost 6 pounds total in the past 7 days. The good news is obvious! I feel freaking great and can tell in a matter of a week that my clothes are fitting better.

Now how on earth could that be bad news?

Well, the truth is…it is pretty much biochemically impossible to lose 6 pounds of body fat in 7 days (unless maybe I started at 300 pounds and was a participant on “The Biggest Loser”). So then how do you explain that much weight loss in such a short amount of time?

Simple: I was toxic!

AUDRA'S TOXIC!!!

My body obviously has some sensitivities to some of the foods I took out of my diet. As soon as they left my diet, my body was able to start healing.

Dairy

When you are eating foods (the biggest culprits are wheat/gluten, dairy, and sugar), that your body has sensitivites toward, your body’s immune system goes into overdrive and evokes an inflammatory response. The inflammation shows up as bloating, water retention, gas, and all sorts of other systemic problems.

Sugar

Wheat

Other common symptoms of constantly consuming foods that create sensitivities are:

· Headaches

· Migraines

· Difficulty sleeping

· Coughing, sore throat, hoarseness, frequently clearing throat

· Runny or stuffy nose

· Postnasal drip

· Ringing in the ears

· Sinus problems

· Asthma

· Shortness of breath

· Difficulty breathing

· Nausea, vomiting

· Irritable bowel syndrome

· Bloating, passing gas, stomach pain, cramping, heartburn

· General weakness

· Muscle or joint aches and pains

· Arthritis

· Swelling stiffness

(Lipski, Elizabeth Ph.D., CCN. Digestive Wellness, 2004. pg.91)

The point I’m making here is that food sensitivities cause a myriad of systemic problems in the body. And if you go on a cleansing diet/detox like what I’m doing, and then you lose a dramatic amount of weight in a short time, it is a very good sign that there’s some serious DE-TOXING going on!

So like I said: good news (it’s always nice to lose a few pounds), and bad news (I must have been pretty toxic!)

This week, my goal is to:

  • Add the detox tea into my diet (I bought it last week, but I haven’t started drinking it yet!)
  • Be more consistent with taking my vitamin C, Multi, and Fish oil.
  • Have a drink with green powder in it EVERYDAY
  • Cook and try something different this week
    • Already cooked buckwheat (for a breakfast cereal) and will try it tomorrow
    • Bought Amaranth and plan to make a dish with it
    • Trying some different veggie juice concoctions…I’ll let you know how they turn out!

HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Wednesday 5/20

I am Tired

up at 6am…didn’t get to exercise today : (

  • 6:30am Juicy detox cocktail
  • 7:30am- eggs and veggies, 2 slices cantaloupe, green tea
  • 10:45am…hungry! Pumpkin seeds (between clients)
  • 12pm…1/2 green smoothie with: green juice, green powder, fzn bluberries, vanilla whey
  • 2pm…lunch…salad w/ lots of veggies, chicken, ¼ avocado, olive oil drssg
  • 4:30…this one sucked…I was hungry, but thought it was too early for dinner…so I had an apple with Tbl of almond butter
  • 6pm…now it’s 6, I’m not hungry for dinner…but have to go teach a bootcamp…what do I do??? ½ cup cold sweet potato (couldn’t believe it…incredibly yummy cold…)
  • 8pm…now I really messed it up because I’m hungry. If I don’t eat I won’t sleep, but I’m annoyed because it’s so late. So…I re-heated 2-3oz of salmon and a cup of veggies from yesterday. Not too much and it hit the spot. And a WAY better choice than I would have made if I wasn’t doing this detox!!!
  • 11pm…I’m writing this blog…attempting to suck down my juicy detox cocktail. I put way too much cayenne, and not enough stivea…it’s pretty potent!

Check out the video from Day 5…I was pretty tired

Monday May 18, 2009

Good morning!

6:30-deox cocktail

7am- green tea

8am- 2 eggs sautéed with LOTS of onion, yellow & orange bell pepper, mushrooms in about a 2 tsp of coconut oil. I added a sprinkle of Spike and Tumeric powders…very yummy. One slice cantaloupe. One slice Honey dew. More water.

eggs and veggies with cantaloupe and honey dew

9-11 yoga

1pm lunch…hungry! Greek salad (no cheese) with grilled organic chicken breast (I used spike and poultry seasoning as a rub and cooked in coconut oil.) 2 small pieces of honey dew/cantaulope.

3pm-ish…one green apple with Almond butter (probably 2 Tbl)

6pm dinner. This is what you do when you don’t have a recipe…but have tons of veggies in the fridge: make it up!!!

  • Put 4 sweet potatoes in the oven to cook
  • Olive oil in a pan, then added:
  • onion, brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, carrots, asparagus, (and I think more…I just can’t remember
  • I used a little spike seasoning, and at the end added lots of fresh basil
  • Cooked chard by sautéing onions in olive oil, then adding the chard and cooking until just tender.
  • Used the leftover cooked chicken from my lunch for protein.
  • Dinner was: chicken, veggie stir-fry, side of chard, ½ cup sweet potato.

For not having a clue what I was doing…it was surprisingly delicious, filling and satisfying! Doesn’t it look yummy???

9pm…super-detox-cocktail! Yummm-bo!!!

9:30…bedtime…I’m exhausted from all that cooking! : )

See you tomorrow!
