ROB ELLIS

My name is Rob Ellis and I want to briefly tell you how I came to teaching fitness. I’m here for the same reasons you are. I have always struggled with weight. I put on pounds very easily, and I have my entire life. I could always somehow justify being heavy because I’ve always been active. But I knew I wasn’t happy with the way I looked. What someone meant as a passing comment about my weight would stay with me for weeks. I had the same excuses about it that you may. “I’m just big boned” or “this is just the way I am” would cross my mind but nothing would ever happen.

Finally, at one point in my life not too long ago, I realized I could either be sensitive about it, or take action. I had my blood work done and I was borderline diabetic. My indicator numbers were all at a red flag level. With 3 young boys, I decided to take control of the things that I could control.

I soon came to know that weight control, diet and exercise are not temporary things. It’s about a lifestyle change that needs to stay with you forever…I’m here to help you with that. It’s an adventure that can transform not just the way you look, but the way that you think…and your outlook on life can be as great as how you will feel & look.
